Jenn Manley Lee resides in Portland Oregon with her husband Kip Manley and the requisite cats, in a house nearing its centennial that contains too many books and CDs and not enough art. Graphic designer by day, she comes home at night and tries to ignore most everything mentioned above in order to get some comicking done.

She has also spent time in Amherst, Massachusetts, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a childhood in Long Branch, New Jersey, all of which have had varying influence on how she views and interpret the world. Even bigger influences are her various cultural heroes, Trina Schart Hyman, Tom Waits, Dave McKean, Boris Artzybasheff, Octavia Bulter and Marina Warner to name a shifting few.

All in all she has a good life, though she wishes she could draw faster, would exercise more and find the time to develop hobbies. She's very appreciative of her friends who try to socialize her, her cats who lull her into taking naps and her husband who cooks her dinner most every night.
